Homayoun Khatami has brought 16 years of strategic planning and hands-on experience to SICAP. He started his career on large to medium scale foreign investment projects across industries from project conception, technical and financial FS, to implementation and controlling, became soon a department lead to take this accomplishment to a next level higher. As a strong communicator, Homayoun was instrumental in promoting and closing dozens of industrial and mining to construction and energy contracts when he was called out on business to around 20 countries.
With three bachelors and masters degrees in industrial engineering and economics, Homayoun is a out-of-box thinker who has come with true ideas and solutions for system optimization. He came to Canada-Vancouver in 2008, continued working hard and soon became Project Management Professional(PMP), Certified Management Consultant(CMC), and Certified Energy Manager(CEM) achieved among other coveted designations at North America standard.
In Canada, he has continued staying in energy industry after he left one of the largest utility companies in Iran as their marketing director. His specialities now expanded to energy efficiency and saving strategies, green building mechanical and control systems and monitored based commissioning.
Homayoun's passion is to help people find their career and professional paths and has empathy towards community. He plays soccer regularly and is open to suggestions for jogging, biking and camping in nature.
