Omid Ejtemai, MCS, has over 23 years of technical and managerial experience in IT, product management, marketing and professional services. Omid graduated from the technical university of Darmstadt (Germany) in computer science and has worked with a number of organizations in Germany, US and Canada. He served as VP Product Operations at KANA Inc. a leading provider of knowledge base and external-facing Service solutions and as Director of Program Management and Application Development at Pivotal Corporation, a CRM company. During the last years Omid has served as the Executive Vice President and CTO of Gemcom Software International a leading provider of mining solutions, and prior to that as the President and CEO of Correlation Technologies Inc., a software development company focused on Web-based enabling technologies. In 2006 Omid founded thinkParity Solutions. In his leisure time, Omid enjoys writing and has published several assays and short stories in Persian language. Last year his translation of Uwe Timm’s “Schlangenbaum” (Snake Tree) was published in Iran and nominated for the book of the season. Back
